Ministries of Reckless Faith, Resilient Hope, and Steadfast Love
Social justice is a necessary goal and outcome of practicing a religious life in the larger world. The church practices a coming together in community and fellowship in order to more powerfully go out and transform the community and extend that bond of fellowship into the surrounding lifeworld of which we are a part. Social justice is about bringing power to bear to drive toward beloved community. The church is a platform for mutual empowerment.
I encourage congregations to learn different ways of justice-making.

The congregations I have served have all had powerful records of thinking, talking, and doing. no one of these activities is sufficient. We have worked especially in my time with them alongside the community, other congregations (interfaith work is a special passion for me), and local governments.
